Falls Lodge offers guests the chance to stay in a private household in a friendly Wentworth Falls neighbourhood. We can host up to 6 guests and are flexible to your needs.

 House Rules

 

As we are opening our home to you there are a few rules and guidelines we have established:

  • If you break it or take it you may expect it to be charged to you.

  • The cleaning fee charged prepares Falls Lodge for your stay. Any additional cleaning costs incurred as a result of your stay will be charged to you.

  • Pets: yes, but dogs only. If your dog is a breed larger than 25 kgs then it must stay outside. Before entering the house your dog’s paws should be wiped and/or dried (and preferably their nails will have been recently clipped). Falls Lodge is fully fenced and an undercover kennel is provided so your dog must not be left in the house during any absence. We also expect that you will pick up after your dog around the lawns before departure.

  • Open Fire place: check the flue venturi is open before lighting.

  • The house has a septic system. This means feminine hygiene products as well as material such as dental floss must not be flushed down the toilets but disposed of via the rubbish.

  • Please do not consume food in the bedrooms.

  • No outdoor shoes on the carpet please.

  • Please respect our neighbours by not playing loud music after 10pm.

  • Kitchen and timber bench tops:

    • please make sure all used items are washed or in the dishwasher before you leave.

    • Kitchen knives (as opposed to general cutlery) must not be put in the dishwasher nor wooden cutting boards; do use knives on the chopping boards provided.

    • Please do not leave water sitting on the bench tops; use coasters under glasses and bottles and do not put hot pans directly on a benchtop.

  • No deep frying. As well as the risk of fire on the gas cooktop there are no suitable saucepans.

  • When you go out: it would be appreciated if the Sound System is not left on. The slow combustion wood heater is OK, but if you plan to be out do not light an open fire within 3 hours of departure.

  • The books on the bookshelves are provided for your reading pleasure. We ask that you leave them here.

  • Items available for your use include:

    • Toiletries on display in the bathrooms.

    • DVDs, Board games.

    • Cleaning products in the kitchen.

    • Condiments and spices.

  • Children specific rules:

    • No ball games with hard balls (this includes basketballs).
